RIP Chris Sievey

We remember our friend Chris Sievy, aka Frank Sidebottom - a true Manchester Legend - who died on Monday. Chris was a great friend of Filmonik, performing as Frank at our big 'Best-of' screening back in 2007, and screening some of his shorts in the early years. He's also - and not many people know this - the inventor of the name 'Filmonik', sprung from an impromptu riffing on the words 'Film' (backwards) and 'Kino' in one of his many moments of Genius. Rest in Peace, Chris.
